Russell Evans, MD and Sue Walsh, Head of Business Operations, were invited to represent Primeast at the Queen's Reception in July 2015 in recognition of our Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade. Here's what they have to say about their amazing experience!

Walking under the portico and up the stone staircase, the scene of so many royal occasions, seemed a little unreal. We were greeted by Palace staff who immediately put us at ease with their warmth and helpfulness. Champagne and delicious canapes were plentiful while waiting to be introduced to Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, Prince Philip. It was a great opportunity to speak with our fellow award winners and revealed a fascinating diversity of products and services. We even bumped into one of our current clients.

After the formal introductions, Her Majesty the Queen, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, and many other members of the Royal Family took time to speak personally with us and as many of our fellow award winners as possible. They were genuinely interested in each of our businesses. Though it was hard to capture in one sentence what our services achieved, "creating great places to work, enabling good people to do great things around the world" seemed to capture it in a nutshell for the royal conversation starters.

As a global provider of leadership, change management and team working development, our award recognises how we are enabling good people to do great things in over 40 countries around the world. Throughout the grand occasion we remained very aware that we were representing an outstanding and loyal team of front line professionals and support teams, both in the UK and overseas, without whose dedicated work we would not have been invited into such prestigious company.

We felt very privileged indeed.
