North America Associate Team, let’s extend our congratulations to Scott Cooksey for achieving the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) Designation Award. This prestigious CSP designation signifies excellence and credibility, showing that the speaker has met the rigorous standards set by the NSA. These criteria include a history of delivering numerous paid speaking engagements, receiving consistently positive feedback from clients and peers, and upholding the NSA’s strict ethical code. With less than 17% of NSA members worldwide holding this esteemed credential, it is a highly coveted recognition in the speaking industry.
To attain the CSP, candidates must complete at least 200 paid presentations over a ten-year period, meet revenue targets in five of those years, provide a video presentation for peer evaluation, and demonstrate proficiency in the eight competency areas required by the National Speakers Association.
Earning the CSP designation showcases a speaker’s steadfast dedication to their craft, demonstrating their capability to consistently deliver top-notch presentations and their commitment to maintaining the values and standards of the NSA.
Scott will be presented with the CSP medal at a ceremony during the NSA Influence Conference in Denver, CO, on August 3-6, 2024.
